DescriptionLocated on Vashon Island, this contemporary home remodel transformed an existing residence into a more functional and visually connected living space. Designed by Chris Ezzell of E Workshop Design, the project included a substantial two-story addition and a complete reconfiguration of the home's interior layout. Because the home sits on a bluff with a limited footprint, thoughtful design solutions were needed to maximize both space and views. Floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive glass doors, and custom structural elements help blur the line between indoor and outdoor living while filling the home with natural light. McIntyre Construction worked closely with the design team and local artisans, including custom tile designer Nadine Edelstein, to bring this vision to life.
